Water Extraction and DryingRegardless of the nature or scope, an immediate response to a water loss is critical. It takes only a few hours for a small loss to become a big problem. Water migration and increased humidity in a structure can result in damage to contents and the structure itself, and creates a breeding ground for mold. The first step is to quickly remove the standing water, get contents moved to a safe location and initiate a dry out. Depending on the category of water and the extent of the loss, the dry out can take as little as three days and involve limited demolition. Walls, ceilings, hardwood floors, even contents can be thoroughly dried, in place, in some cases. Our technicians receive training twice a year in the latest drying techniques and have the experience and the equipment to keep demolition to a minimum. Talk is cheap but pictures are worth a thousand words… click on the Photo Gallery link to the left to see photos of some of our recent dry-outs.
